Professor Lisa Cameron
Professor Lisa Cameron is the Director of the Monash Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability. She has over 15 years of experience working on economic development in Asia, particularly in Indonesia. She has a PhD in economics from Princeton University and has published widely on the consequences of inequality and poverty for households in developing countries, particularly in Indonesia and other countries in the Asian region. Professor Cameron is regularly engaged as a consultant to international development organisations and is currently leading a randomised evaluation of a large sanitation program in Indonesia for the World Bank and Gates Foundation. She joined Monash in July 2010.
